About ME

Aloha, i'm cristina

Welcome! I have been a Hawaii-licensed massage therapist since 2019 (MAT-16203), and a Texas-licensed massage therapist since 2022 (MT137048). I am trained in many modalities including Lomi Lomi, Swedish, sport, lymphatic, and deep tissue. In my massages, I typically utilize a combination of the above methods to personalize my massages to your unique needs and preferences for a therapeutic experience.

Growing up as a dancer, I have learned that the more we understand our own body, the better we can know how to maximize our physical well-being. My journey with massage began with this interest about human body and function, and how this understanding can be applied to increasing self-confidence, rehabilitating injuries, and amplifying physcial performance. I have come to know how intricate and connected the body is, and how therapeutic massage can benefit each body system collectively. It is fascinating what our bodies are capable of! Life and living are truly miraculous, and it is an honor to share this gift of massage with you.

My approach

I believe that Jesus Christ is the one true healer and empowerer of our spirit, mind, and body. It is by God our Creator that we move, breathe, and have our being. He has designed our bodies with incredible function to live, and the mechanisms to heal and recover when necessary. Massage therapy comes alongside what healing is already taking place for the prevention of future injury or a speedier recovery. In every session, come and receive prayer, rest, and professional manual therapy.

Ephesians 3:16-19

“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
